3d Simulation of Photoelectron Cloud in Kekb Ler

A 3-dimension particle in cell simulation code is developed to study the photoelectron cloud instabilities in KEK LER. The program has been decribed in detail. Numerical examples are shown for the photoelectron motion in various kinds of magnetic fields. Simulation shows solenoid is very effective to confine the photoelectron to the vicinity of the vacuum chamber wall and make a photoelectron free region at the vacuum pipe center. The more uniform the solenoid field, the more effective the field. Multipacting can occur in drift region and dipole magnet. Special trapping occurs in quadrupole and sextupole magnets.
